Nijmegen Marches 2016 Sponsorship

Cadet Direct has teamed up with Magnum to provide sponsorship for the Nijmegen Marches 2016. The sponsorship deal will provide two cadet teams with 14 pairs of Magnum Classic Boots for Men and Women in Black or MOD Brown. The competition is open to all cadet teams and those interested should ask there team leader (TL) to complete the 2016 application form available here. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:

1. Team Leaders with a successful track record in completing previous Nijmegen marches.

2. A willingness to submit product reviews on the Cadet Direct website - each team member should submit a review to qualify for entry.

3. A committment to provide photographs and a short summary training reports after each training weekend.

4. Provide photos and a short daily report during the event itself.

Submitted reports and photos will be published on both the Cadet Direct (www.cadetdirect.com) and Magnum Footwear websites (www.magnumboots.com) as well as social media pages.

Question 1: I would love to put the sponsorship form in by 31st March but we do not select out team names till after RAF Warma in April as all cadets and staff have to qualify on the 2 day march to go to Nijmegen.

Answer 1: Some teams may require their boots before the qualfying event so can we suggest then that in order to give you the best possible chance that you still submit an application by the deadline for your most likely team members. if your application is subsequently successful we can then confirm your exact team and foot sizes etc. after the April qualifying event.

Question 2: Does the team need to be an official team in Holland or can they be a civilian team?

Answer 2: We want to encourage participation at all levels but would suggest you make the application for your official team in the first instance. We still welcome applications from all unofficial teams as long at they are formed from serving cadets and cadet staff.

Question 3: Can we have black Magnum Classic boots rather than MOD Brown?

Answer 3: We Yes - both black or MOD Brown boots are avilable - whichever you prefer.

Question 4: Why does each team member have to write a product review on the Cadet Direct website?

Answer 4: As a sponsor we are looking to engage with our sponsored team to get useful feedback on products that we supply to you for free. In return we ask team members to write reviews that are useful to other customers in helping them to decide what to buy. The successful applicants need to prove their willingness to write reviews and engage with our website and that is why we are asking team members to write reviews for kit they already own. It only takes a few minutes to write a review and can be done on a PC, tablet or smart phone/device.
