Works well if you follow the ironing instructions

17th September 2021 by
I hate sewing and I thought this was reasonably priced. It arrived the following day. I purchased a new brassard because my old one was tatty. I removed most of my badges from the old brassard and bought a few new replacements. The product works well. The instructions on the back of the card were good. You must remove any plastic layers from the back of each badge (if they have it) before ironing. You iron the back of the brassard not the front of the badge. They looked good and were very well attached - there's also loads more glue left in the bottle if I need to use again in the future.

Had to scrape off

14th September 2021 by
Bought this to attach ACF badges to my uniform and when I tried to attach a badge to my blanking plate, it would not stick and left white paste everywhere which I had to scrape off with the lid, now the badge itself is damaged. Do not waste your money and ruin your badges.

CADET DIRECT RESPONSE:
We are very careful to only endorse products to cadets that we have tested ourselves. We were sorry to hear of your troubles using the glue. We have re-tested the glue here today to make sure that there is nothing wrong with the latest delivery. It is very important to follow the supplied instructions (see additional image on website) by removing any plastic backing to the badge and then to iron on the reverse of the badge (i.e. not on the badge itself but on the back of the material that it is being attached to). If you have the old style blanking plate with full velcro on it, then you would not have been able to do that. During our latest testing we intentionally applied too much glue close to the edge and as you can imagine the glue oozed out. We removed easily this by scratching with a fingernail. We used a large badge (bigger than the ACF ones) to make sure that the glue held the badge properly and there were no problems with the adhesion.
