Basic but works fine
Bought two of these to add to my emergency prepping bugging-in kit. No issues with ordering and delivery. Basic design that's been around for years. One of the stoves had a loose clip on arrival but easily tightened with some pliers. Tested in the garden using cans of chafing gel. Not really suited to cooking big meals but ideal for warming soup, baked beans, rice pudding etc. Will boil water (but not that quickly) providing it's a small quantity (500ml or less) and is in a small covered pot or kettle. Chafing gel shouldn't be blown out and the can will get hot so my tip is to slide a cheap handleless filling knife (the ones that are basically a thin rectangle of metal) over the can which snuffs it out nicely. Let it cool for 2 or 3 minutes then take the can out of the stove and pop the lid back on. A can of chafing gel, one of these stoves and a small covered pot will sort you out a mug of tea and a hot plate of baked beans in an emergency. Recommended.
