Leading Cadet Award Requirements

To qualify as a Leading Cadet you must undertake further training in three key subjects. The Leading Cadet syllabus builds on what was learnt during the First Class training. The training at Leading level covers less subjects, but they are in more detail. The examinations will lead to a graded qualification at pass, credit or distinction levels.

The three areas studied at Leading level are:
Basic navigation using map and compass
Principles of flight
Airmanship Knowledge
