Heat, eat and drink from this lightweight ultra-compact and efficient 0.8 litre personal cooking system. Ideal for coffee or tea on the go or complete meals. The Jetboil has sparked a revolution in outdoor cooking. Boiling two mugs of water in two minutes at 75-80% efficiency, the Zip is twice as fast and uses half as much fuel as conventional stoves. The Jetboil boils more than 50 mugs (12 litres) of water from a single isobutane/propane cooking gas cannister available separately. Features include a FluxRing heat exchanger which captures and focuses the burner heat onto the integral hard-anodized aluminum mug/cooking pot and drink-through plastic lid. The entire PCS and a 100g gas canister packs into the mug for easy stowage in a PLCE utiliy pouch or bergan. Compatible with the Primus 100g gas cannister (available separately). Ideal for military use due to its efficiency and lightweight design. Size: 16.5cm x 10.4cm. Weight: 345g (excluding fuel). Colour: black.

versatile and lightweight 'go anywhere' cooking

7th April 2016 by I take a jetboil most places unless just out for half a day. I have used this in many places but any cooker that can be used on a Scottish rock face in 50 mile hour winds (the rocks gave some shelter) gets my vote. I have added a stainless steel coffee pot and a milk frother to give me a wild cappuccino. No need for Costa to open up in the Scottish mountains when you have this kit. A little pricey but well worth it

9th March 2016 by Having previously used the old hex stove and fuel which takes an age to boil water and often rattles and is an awkward shape. The jetboil is great as its so easy to use and maintain the temperature of your water. With the multitude of accessories and additions you can really create your own personal cooking system to suite your needs.
