Great boots, comfortable from day one. Took a bit of getting used to the toggle on the laces and putting them into the tongue, but quick to undo or do up now. Great sole, good on different surfaces (for me, on steel, mud and wet & slimy wood surfaces) warm, dry, love them! Have already recommended them to a few people, mostly canal users, who need good boots. They don't feel at all heavy. I don't usually spend this much on boots, but hopefully they will last, very happy so far with them.

Took a couple of weeks to properly break in but never been happier with a pair of boots. They look mean and are comfy walking boots. When you look up close, every stitch and feature you can tell is top quality.

Passed Army CIC Course Catterick in these!

Just finished my CIC COURSE IN THESE AT CATTERICK. Worn them for two weeks tabbing, patrolling etc. Did my eight mile loaded march in them and found them very comfy and light compared to issued boots . Not as much ankle support as the high ankle version but I felt freedom of movement was a bonus walking over rough terrain. Convinced a few people on the course that Haix tactical boots especially these are excellent in all conditions and very light flexible sole excellent athletic boot

A brilliant pair of boots

Just acquired a BRILLIANT PAIR OF MOD BROWN BLACK EAGLE TACTICAL BOOTS THE LOWER ANKLE VERSION.. I’m in the infantry and have suffered with other “issue" boots including altbergs because of stiff soles and Achilles pain and but after going tabbing in these they were EXCELLENT. Flexible and enough for protection needed. I wish the British army would realise boots such as these are LIGHT FLEXIBLE AND TOUGH ENOUGH FOR DEPLOYMENT AND QUICK TO GET ON AND OFF. Great boots
